Road trip

Heading off on a little road trip without the hubs.  The pups and xm radio will keep me company.  Cooler temps makes me want to transition my clothes for fall.  I will hold off since we head to the beach in a little over a week.

Lonely leopard

Everyone in my office is away today.  I am going to enjoy the quiet and not wearing heels.  The hubs took me to a concert last night and it was a late night.  It was so worth it!   I hope y'all listen to some great music and have a wonderful weekend.

Luck of the Irish

We all have seen that emerald is the Pantone color of the year.  I saw an ad for the DKNY  Saffiano Large Zip tote and I think I may have to agree.  I'm thinking about adding an emerald bag to my collection.  I'm a KSNY kind of a girl, but may opt for a new brand this time around.

Trending tangerine

I must admit that I do love the color orange a/k/a tangerine.   I have a pair of wedges & a KSNY bag (similar to the one above) that are on trend.   I'm thinking that I need to add a few other items to make my wardrobe complete.  My bff went to Clemson,  I should just go raid her closet.  Too bad she moved to Atlanta.

My nails are the pop of color in my outfit today.  I'm so happy to be bare legged enjoying the amazing weather. Hope y'all are having great weather as well.   

Lip options

I do not own any lipstick and I'm considering buying some.  I even had to borrow some from my future SIL on my wedding day.  My make-up maven friend has given me lip gloss the past two Christmases.  I wonder if she is trying to tell me something.  Now to find a shade that will not scare me when I look in the mirror.  Any color suggestions for a blue eyed blonde? 

    p.s. No plumping needed, already have full lips.

Hello 2012, nice to see you

How can it be that 2011 is almost over?   The hubs & I are spending NYE w/my sisters family and  her wonderful neighbors.  They normally have a progressive party, but this year it is at one house.  It is an indoor/outdoor BYOB bash.  Bubbly is chilling and I will bring an easy appetizer (taco dip w/blue corn chips).  The most difficult thing to decide is what to wear.  My dressy outfit is no longer a choice.  I think I will rock my sequined top, skinny jeans, a dressy cardi, boots and of course, my Kate Spade ring.

Monday Mourning

Yes, I'm sad that the weekend is over.   I like to wear cardi's instead of jackets, makes it less business and more me.  I think I need to donate some of my suits,  I'm not giving them the love they deserve.    I'm thrilled that it is a 4 day work week.   Already thinking about what I will cook for our company this weekend.
